Ostrow, Andrew
Andy joined the Morgan Legal Group in its Florida office after practicing law for over 35 years, counseling, advising, and litigating for clients in State and Federal Courts. Most of his lawsuits dealt with business, commercial, and real estate disputes, but he has also represented clients who needed help with probate, trusts, and guardianships. More recently, during covid, he was employed by the Small Business Administration as a General Attorney in the Office of Disaster Assistance, responsible for working with disaster loan borrowers to comply with the emergency disaster loan program’s laws, regulations, and policies.
Andy was General Counsel for a US subsidiary of France Telecom (n/k/a Orange) that provided worldwide telecommunications and satellite broadcast services during his career. His responsibilities included the management of legal and risk concerns relating to business affairs; advising on employment, personnel, regulatory, and management matters; negotiating and drafting customer, rights holders, and long-term vendor agreements; handling the company’s litigation; and supervising in-house and outside counsel.
But Andy’s private practice was not just limited to litigation. He was often retained to provide business legal advice, usually for clients originally represented in various court proceedings.
